Abstract:
A possibility of synthesizing ceramic catalysts, based on substituted hexaaluminates of Ba without any solvent, is considered with regard to environmental safety. The substituting cations are Mn3+, Fe3+, Co3+. The effect of mech. activation, temperature and calcination time on the catalyst synthesis and their sp. surface has been studied. Conditions for the synthesis of Mn and Fe substituted hexaaluminates have been optimized.
