The EPR signals of MnIII(salen) complexes (R,R)-(-)-N,N'-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-1,2-cyclohexanediaminomanganese(III) chloride 1 and N,N'-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediaminomanganese(III) chloride 2 were detected and used for the characterisation of intermediates in catalytic epoxidation.
