Abstract: X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and differential dissolution were used for investigation of the phase transformation peculiarities of biphasic manganese-alumina catalysts during their thermal treatment. An effect of interaction between aluminium and manganese oxides depending on the sample preparation procedure was found.
