Abstract: Comparative studies of electrocatalytic ethylene glycol oxidation on bulk and dispersed Pt in acidic aqueous solutions have been performed. A quantitative method has been developed to determine all organic oxidation products using high-performance liquid chromatography with appropriate derivatising reagents.
