Реферат: The influence, exerted by cathodic and anodic currents on hydrogenation of CO2 to CO, is studied on a platinum electrode in the following cell with a solid oxygen-conducting electrolyte: CO2 + H2, Pt|0.9ZrO2 + 0.1 Y2O3|Pt + PrO2-x, air. The experiments are conducted at the atmospheric pressure and a temperature of 750°C, with the reaction mixture varied in a wide composition range. The current (oxygen flow through electrolyte) is shown to alter the CO formation rate as compared with its value under open-circuit conditions. The CO formation rate decreases or increases at the anodic or cathodic polarizations of the electrode, respectively. The influence, exerted by the polarization of the platinum electrode-catalyst on the CO formation rate is reversible and of a faradaic nature.
