Реферат: Processes of catalytic detoxication of gases under unsteady-state conditions maintained by periodic reversal of a reaction mixture flow fed into the catalyst bed were studied both theoretically and experimentally. Based on mathematical modeling of unsteady processes in adiabatic reactors, the optimum conditions of detoxication process performance were determined. The high efficiency of the method was demonstrated for the processes of purification of exhaust gases from sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and organic compounds. Results of pilot-plant and industrial tests are in good agreement with calculations. Industrial realization of the unsteady-state method at several plants has proved its high reliability and efficiency.
