Abstract: Linear relations between the logarithms of the oxidation rates of hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, and carboxylic acids and av. bond energies were discussed. CuO-​, CuO​/Al2O3-​, and Pt​/Al2O3-​catalyzed oxidations were studied.
