Abstract: A study has been made of the interaction of complexes of palladium containing aromatic ligands with various types of supports, and the possibility of strong adsorption of these complexes on the surface of carbon materials has been demonstrated. The catalytic properties of these supported systems are highly dependent on the site of localization of the palladium center. In the reaction of vinyl exchange, the anchored complexes manifest high activity if the ligands that are present enable the palladium atom to be positioned at a certain distance from the substrate surface. At the same time, close contact between the active center and the support in the adsorption of planar phenanthroline complexes leads to a drop in their chemical activity in this process.
