Abstract: Addition of water to the reaction mixture was found to enhance significantly the rate of vinylation of propionic acid in presence of a palladium acetate based catalysts, with selectivity of the reaction remaining almost unchanged. Найдено, что добавки в реакционную смесь воды увеличивают начальную скорость винилирования пропионовой кислоты в присутствии ацетата палладия. Совместное введение воды и карбоксилата щелочного металла позволяет в десятки раз повысить активность катализатора, практически не снижая селективности.
