Abstract: The morphology, phase, and crystallography changes of carbonized deposits, which form on Al2O3 catalyst during catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons, were studied as a function of used-catalyst thermal treatment at ≤2100°. Three temp. ranges (≤1300, 1500-1700, and 1800-2100°) are defined at which the above properties of deposits and of the support differ significantly.
