The pptn. of Fe(III)-Cr(III) hydrogels and the crystn. of the ppts. were studied. Pptn. from a mixed-salt soln., individual primary, polymeric, aggregate particles of Fe(II) and Co(III) hydrogels are formed. The pptd. components interact on the level of the individual primary polymeric components. Heating the ppts. causes crystn. of Fe2O3 and Cr2O3
