Abstract: A simplified form for the recording of kinetic equations of complex catalytic reactions with single-path mechanisms is described. Sample calcns. are given for the CO + H2O ↹ H2 + CO2, isomerization, and CH4 + H2O ↹ CO + 3H2 reactions in the presence of catalysts.
