Abstract: Treatment tetraallylzirconium (I) [12090-34-5], tetra-α-methylallylzirconium (II) [27719-34-2], and tetra-β-methallylzirconium (III) [35072-79-8] catalysts on silica gel with H increased their activity in polymn. of ethylene [74-85-1] as a result of retention of activity and an increase in the no. of active centers. The highest activity of the catalysts prepared from I and II was obtained by treatment with H at 100-200°, whereas treatment at >100° of the catalyst prepared from III decreased its activity
