Abstract:
The formation and growth of the capillary C deposition by the carbide-cycle mechanism takes place on the metal particle on the surface as well as on metal particles, carried out from a catalyst in a course of catalyst erosion and placed on the thread-like capillary C surface. Contribution of the metal-carbide particles on the capillary C surfaces to the total catalyst activity is responsible for the drastic increase of catalytic activity during the capillary C deposition.
