Abstract: The traditional Ziegler-Natta catalysts including the homopolymerization catalyst and copolymerization catalyst, the combined Ziegler-Natta catalysts and Ziegler-Natta catalyst with other active centers are introduced. The performance, mechanism, and research progress of various catalysts are reviewed. The development trends of Ziegler-Natta catalysts with improvement of the performance of polyethylene to meet the market demand in the future are put forward in the end.
