Abstract: In the present study the effect of the modification of com. carbon black KetjenBlack DJ-600 with nitrogen and carbon contg. compds. on the electrochem. stabilities has been investigated. The modification has been carried out by high temp. decompn. of acetonitrile, pyridine vapors and ethylene on the support surface. The corrosion stability of the KetjenBlack DJ-600 carbon black has been found to be improved upon modification.
