Abstract: New approach for neutralization of flue gases of chemical factories by means of use of fiberglass-fabric catalytic cartridges has been described. A solution combustion synthesis (SHS) is proposed as a method for deposition of an active layer over the fiberglass fabrics. It is shown that CuO-CeO2 system doped with NiO can be considered as alternative to the existing systems of neutralization.
