Abstract:
Catalysts (cobalt disulfophthalocyanine and cobalt tetrasulfophthalocyanine) are removed from spent soln. from oxidative removal of hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen cyanide from coke gas by passing through a stationary bed of brown coal-derived adsorbent (ABD-K) without filtration. The spent soln. is passed through a coke bed prior to passage through the the activated carbon bed.
