Реферат:
The recharging behavior and oxygen reduction electrocatalysis in alkaline solutions are compared for two types of birnessite materials potentiostatically electrodeposited by means of either anodic oxidation of Mn(II) in a neutral solution, or cathodic reduction of permanganate in alkaline medium. Fabrication and operation conditions are very close for the latter material, which demonstrates higher stability and activity. The reversible capacities of both materials exceed 500 F/g.
