Abstract: The catalytic of CO to CO2 in aqueous solutions of PdSO4 and NaxH3+n-xM12-nVnO40 heteropoly-complexes was studied. By supporting the complexes and Pd(II) on SiO2, it is possible to obtain catalysts for CO oxidation by mol. O, which are active at 15-40° in the presence of H2O vapor. Reaction mechanisms of CO oxidation on supported and homogeneous catalysts are similar. The support pore structure has a pronounced effect on the catalytic activity. Intermediate active complexes of Pd(I) are formed on the surface both from Pd(II) and metallic Pd.
