Abstract: This report presents the most important stages in the formation of the International Centre for Catalyst Characterization and Testing, spheres of its activity relating to catalysis fundamentals. Research work in the Centre is supported and provided by Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, which is well recognized by the world scientific community. The pioneer results are reported, which were obtained for particular catalytic systems studied within the first joint projects with the universities, research institutes and companies of the USA, UK, Germany, Spain, etc. The plans for the future activities are summarized as well.
