Abstract: NOM interacting with AMD contains authigenic minerals. Some minerals are pseudomorphs after bacterial cells indicating microbial mediation. Samples have highly variable mineralogy as a result of redox changes. NOM mineralization has mostly industrial rather than geomorphological controls.
