Abstract: Ag/CeO2/SBA catalysts were prepared by impregnation technique, characterized by N2 sorption, XRD, TEM HR, TPR H2 and tested in low-temperature CO oxidation. It was shown that stabilizing of ceria precursor in impregnating solution allowed formation of small ceria nanoparticles (2-4 nm) on the surface of silica support. The bimodal distribution of silver nanoparticles was observed for Ag/SBA catalyst: small silver particles (< 2nm) were located inside pores of SBA and middle silver particles (3-8 nm) were stabilized on external surface of SBA. Ag/CeO2/SBA catalysts have high activity in low-temperature CO oxidation and are promising for VOCs oxidation.
