Abstract: A cellular carbon support was first obtained by modifying the surface of a cellular carbon material with pyrolytic carbon. On this support, palladium catalysts with controlled particle size of deposited metal were synthesized for the first time. By the example of the reaction of gas-phase hydrogenation of acetylene, the possibility of using such catalysts in selective hydrogenation reactions was shown. © 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
