Abstract: Catalytic conversion of bio-oil to produce renewable fuels is an actual problem due to the fact that amount of fossil fuels is decreasing with simultaneously increasing of demand for liquid fuels. This article investigates impact of addition of Ga, Zn and Mo to Pd, supported on mesoporous composite carbon material named Sibunite. Catalysts were tested in the process of hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of guaiacol in flow fixed-bed reactor at H2 pressure 3.0 MPa, 673 K, WHSV=3 h-1, and H2/feed ratio 40.
