Реферат: The low-temperature hydride synthesis makes possible preparation of nanodispersed materials that show a high activity in catalytic processes involving hydrogen. Here, we present the results of our study of cobalt boride catalysts forming in the medium of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) and ammonia borane (NH3BH3) and leading to a faster hydrolysis of these hydrides and an enhanced generation of hydrogen. By varying the synthesis conditions, the dispersion and composition of the cobalt boride catalysts can be controlled to increase their activity. It was shown that the most active phase is formed in the NaBH4 solution. It is amorphous nanosized CoxB and consists of ferromagnetic cobalt boride cores with a local ordered structure.
