Abstract: The effect is discussed of impact compression of powd. LaF3, CeF3, PrF3, NdF3, SmF3 + 0.5H2O, EuF3, GdF3, TbF3, DyF3, HoF3, and YF3, investigated by a previously described method (B. and Deribas, 1965) with poured hexogen (30-150 g) to create high dynamic pressures.
