Abstract: The process of the hydrotropic delignification of oat straw in the universal thermobaric unit has been investigated. The effect of the main regime parameters of cooking is considered and the experimental–statistical model is constructed predicting the change in lignin mass content in the treated material. The optimal conditions for the cooking process that ensure the minimal residual amount of lignin in the cellulose are determined.
