Abstract: The separation of hydrocarbons (methane, ethane, propane, n-butane, ethylene, and propylene) and sulfur-containing gases (hydrogen disulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbonyl sulfide) on a new mixed stationary phase poly-(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne)/poly-(1-phenyl-1-propyne) in the presence of water has been studied by gas chromatography. It has been demonstrated that the new mixed stationary phase outperforms the known polymeric adsorbents and stationary phases by resolution, asymmetry factor, and column efficiency.
