Abstract: Thus, the find of particles of the natural Cu–Au–Ag alloy provides evidence for the high concentrations of these elements in detritusrich zeolite rocks of the Berezovoe manifestation. This fact supports our hypothesis about the attractiveness of zeolitites of the Vanchinskaya basin for animals because of the presence of remnants of buried organic matter in them, partly modified under the influence of metal-bearing hydrothermal solutions at the postvolcanic stage. The lithophagial instinct is one of the explanations of the observed liking of animals for these zeolite rocks. In addition, there is a new aspect in the explanation of recently established high antimicrobial activity of “vanchinites”, which may result from high concentrations of copper, gold, and silver included in composition of the natural Cu–Au–Ag alloy, as well as native gold and silver.
