Реферат: The possibilities of FTIR spectroscopy, in particular with the use of adsorbed СО, pyridine or deuterochloroform probe molecules, for investigation of some model and industrially important supports and catalysts were demonstrated. The effect of chemical composition of a support (Al2O3, Al2O3-SiO2, SO42–-ZrO2, SO42–-ZrO2-Al2O3) and modification technique on the concentration and ratio of different types of OH groups and coordinatively unsaturated surface sites was shown. Concentrations of the surface sites on supports before and after anchoring of the active metal component were compared to demonstrate a relation between composition of the functional surface groups, adsorption capacity of the support and strength of the interaction between metal complex precursor and support, and to identify the sites involved in anchoring of the active component. The impact of support nature and composition, conditions of oxidation and reduction treatments on the metal-support interaction and ratio of oxidized and reduced forms of supported metal (platinum or palladium) was revealed. FTIR spectroscopy data for the examined catalytic systems were compared with the data of XPS, diffuse reflectance electron spectroscopy, H2 and CO chemisorption for determination of supported metal dispersion, and temperature-programmed reduction as well as with the results of testing in the following catalytic reactions: double-bond isomerization of 1-hexene, hydrogenation of benzene and isomerization of n-heptane and cyclohexane.
