Реферат: In earlier publication, it was reported that the dispersed phase of CuAlO2 delafossite can be prepared at low temperatures during heat treatment of molten aluminum nitrate and solid CuO. Our studies disproved this conclusion. In fact, the interaction of aluminum nitrate with copper oxide proceeds even at a temperature below 130 1C with the formation of copper nitrates. A further heating results in decomposition of the nitrates and formation of copper oxide by the known three-step mechanism. The formation of CuAlO2 delafossite structure occurs in this system at temperatures not less than 990 1C and is accompanied by absorption of heat and release of oxygen.
