Abstract: Using capillary chromatography columns with diameters in the range of 5-50 µm maximizes their speed of operation. However, they require very small sample volumes that are difficult to inject and detect. The multicapillary design described in this paper overcomes the flow rate, volume, and sample capacity limitations associated with single-capillary columns. Moreover, the multicapillary column is compatible with all common chromatographic equipment.
