Abstract: A universal algorithm for automatic temperature control according to a predetermined model is described. The model takes into account nonlinear properties of thermal furnaces. The algorithm involves an automatic preliminary identification of object parameters and corrects the heater sluggishness. The algorithm is implemented as a simple analog-digital device with a microprocessor. The device controls the temperature of a sample placed in precision research equipment. The accuracy of temperature stabilization is 0.1 K at 1000 K.
