Реферат:
Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) are the most efficient, promising and environment friendly power generators. To ensure their high and stable performance in the intermediate temperature (IT) range, design of new nanocomposite cathodes and anodes is required. Results of research aimed at solving this problem in frames of a broad international cooperation (Russia-USA-Europe Projects) are reviewed here. Main approach was based upon enhancing oxygen mobility and reactivity of these materials by combining in cathodes perovskite-like oxides (Pr2NiO4, PrNi1-xCoxO3, (La,Sr)(Fe,Ni,Co)O3, etc) with doped ceria or zirconia electrolytes, while Ni-YSZ anode was promoted by fluorite LnCeZrO (Ln = Pr, La, Sm) or perovskite LaPrMnCrO oxides and Pt/Ru. Synthesis and sintering procedures were optimized to provide developed interfaces in nanocomposites which were shown to provide a path for fast oxygen diffusion as revealed by comparing microstructural features (XRD, TEM, etc) with characteristics of oxygen mobility (by oxygen isotope heteroexchange, weight/conductivity/unit cell relaxation methods), etc. Optimized nanocomposite anodes (bulk or supported on Ni-Al alloy foam substrate) show a high efficiency of natural gas and ethanol transformation into syngas and coking stability in the IT range at a low (~1-2) steam/carbon ratio. Developed nanocomposite cathode and anode materials ensure a stable performance of thin film SOFC in the IT range and a high power density (up to 800 mW/cm2 at 700 oC) using both wet H2 or CH4 + H2O feeds in the internal reforming mode (S/C =2).
