Reactors for carrying out catalytic process in a nonstationary regime comprise a casing, an end plate, a lid, couplings for introducing and removing reaction gases, a grating with layers of catalysts and inert materials, and 2 parallel disks, which confine the grating horizontally, and which are joined by radially positioned vertical fins which form isolated sections within the reaction space, each section having a a single opening offset at the bottom of the disk towards the centerline and at the top of the disk towards the wall, the openings for each chamber being a mirror image of those in the adjacent chambers.
