English abstract: The title method comprises reducing H2SO4 to S-​contg. gas in the presence of a catalyst at an elevated temp. To simplify the process and ensure a high degree of redn. to H2S, the starting acid is reduced on an Al-​Co-​Mo catalyst at 350-​700° using H-​contg. gas as a reducing agent. The redn. is performed with a 4-​5:1 vol. ratio of reducing agent to H2SO4 and the contact time is 0.3-​0.5 s.
