STM and HRTEM Investigation of the Paper-Like Materials of Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes

Structure of paper-like material prepared by the deposition of single-wall carbon nanotubes on the filter from a solution was studied. It was found that at the micron structural level the material was a complicated interdigitation of bundles consisting of individual nanotubes. At the submicron level, the structure of individual bundles was found which composed of 10-15 nanotubes which formed a close-packed hexagonal structure in the cross-section.
