In this communication we present a new concept of Zero-Emission Turbine (ZET) that can serve as an efficient tool for ecologically sound power technology. A direct application of products of a reversible conversion of hydrogen-containing fuels like syn-gas, a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen, etc., as a working fluid of a gas turbine makes it possible to regenerate the fuel mixture after releasing its energy excess and reusing the fuel in a closed cycle without heat exchangers.
Thermodynamic efficiency of ZET based on these ''monofuels'' taking part in reversible catalytic reactions was calculated to exceed 50% at 4 MPa pressure and maximum temperature of the fuel about 1100 K. This allows to suggest a new kind of efficient systems for energy storage, which can compete with the scheme of the energy storage in the form of hydrogen and oxygen produced by water electrolysis.
