Реферат: MgO-based aerogel composites are attractive as heterogeneous catalysts. The present research is aimed to develop an efficient system for olefins production via dehydrogenation of corresponding alkanes. In order to improve the yield of target olefin, an approach considering the uptake of released hydrogen by so-called oxygen carrier systems was utilized. Thus, the composite systems consisting of the Pd-Mg-O component, responsible for the dehydrogenation stage, and M-Mg-O (M = Ni, Cu, Fe) component, serving as an oxygen carrier, were prepared and characterized. The reproducibility of the samples towards the hydrogen uptake in consecutive redox cycles was studied by the temperature-programmed reduction method. The efficacy of the composites was compared in a model reaction of ethane dehydrogenation.
