R\MgX42_2 with а silane compound Si(OR5)4_п(R6)п to obtain а Mg(OR1))C\_x wherein: R1 , R5 and R6 are each independently а linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbyl independently selected from alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkylaryl groups, or comЬinations thereof; Х1 is independently fluoride, chloride, bromide or iodide; 0<n<4; 0<z<2; and О<х<2; wherein an initiator compound, which is а ketone, а diketone, an ester, а diester, and/or а benzamide, is added during step В to obtain а solid support.
